North, South, East or West, each of us has our own HOMELAND.

We would like to take this opportunity to share a little about our

HOMELAND with you.

As you will see by our first page, we are from Dixie and take

a lot of pride in our Heritage.

We are also North Carolinians and would like to take you on a

tour of our beautiful state.

From the mountains to the sea, North Carolina is truly a

"Variety Vacationland".

DOREID's HOMELAND is divided into three sections.

Our first section will take you on a tour of our home state of North Carolina where you can find information on government agencies, travel and tourism, NC Job Bank, the State Fair, major universities, major museums, and much more.

Our second section is devoted to ALZHEIMERS DISEASE. In this section we will attempt to convey the devestation caused by this terrible disease - not only to the victim but to the family and the caregiver. It includes our personal Caregiver's Cycle of Emotions to show some of what a caregiver can expect to experience, inspirations, tips, homemade devices, and useful links for the caregiver and family of an Alzheimer's victim. We leave it to you to answer the question "Who is really the Victim of Alzheimer's ?".

We have added a new area to our home site called Dot's Corner. Here you will find jokes, inspirations, optical illusions, and other miscellaneous tidbits.
